Awards presented at 2022 CompTIA Partner Summit
CHICAGO – Nineteen organizations and one individual who have demonstrated how training, education and certification opportunities in technology skills can help people reach their full potential and attain career success were honored today by CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the information technology (IT) industry and workforce.
Awards recognizing CompTIA partners who have performed exceptionally well as leaders and rising stars were presented at the annual CompTIA Partner Summit.
“The incredible work performed by our partners has made a positive impact in the lives of tens of thousands of people around the world,” said Graham Hunter, CompTIA’s executive vice president for global business development. “They share our belief that with the right mix of opportunity and encouragement anyone can find a place in the tech workforce.”
The MVP Award for the CompTIA Instructor Network, a global group of instructors and managers responsible for delivering CompTIA training, was presented to Rick A. Butler, director of information technology at IntelliTec College in Colorado Springs, Colo.
“Rick promotes CompTIA and our instructor network everywhere he goes, reaching out and helping new members, starting new conversations, answering questions in the community and always stepping up to help wherever needed,” Hunter said.
Partner organizations were recognized in two categories.
Outstanding Leader Awards for top performing CompTIA Partners committed to educating and certifying IT students.
Rising Star Awards for newly engaged CompTIA Partners committed to unlocking their potential with CompTIA in educating and certifying IT students.
Recipients of Outstanding Leader Awards were The Learning People (Australia and New Zealand), Impactful Specialist Solutions (South Africa), TAC Co. Ltd. (Japan), PEOPLElogy (Malaysia), XCEED Academy (United Arab Emirates), SOLAS (Ireland), Global IT Success (Nigeria), Dion Training (Puerto Rico), MyComputerCareer (United States), Western Governors University (United States) and CDI College (Canada).
Rising Star Awards winners include CyberCX (Australia), Revival Technologies & Academy (South Africa), Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College (India), XCEED Academy (United Arab Emirates), CyberNOW Labs (Germany), iQ4 Corporation (Costa Rica), Professor Messer (United States), Generation USA (United States) and Western Community College (United States).
