Industry experts will discuss how to build robust tech skills and teams
Downers Grove, Ill. – The Future of Tech website created by CompTIA, the nonprofit trade association for the global technology industry, has been selected as an honoree in the 24th Annual Webby Awards.
Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.
The Future of Tech website was among those honored in the education category for sites that are educational, promote education or provide online curriculum or education services. This category includes educational content for children or adults, resources for educators, and "distance learning" courses.
“Honorees like CompTIA are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said Claire Graves, executive director of The Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 13,000 entries we received this year.”
Established in 1996, this year’s Webby Awards received entries from all 50 states and 70 countries worldwide.
Future of Tech is a free and growing web library of resources to get anyone up to speed on what’s new and next in technology. It covers five areas of technology: big data, cybersecurity, digital health, internet of things and artificial intelligence.
