Online conference will explore the critical skills and competencies needed for IT and cybersecurity professionals
Downers Grove, Ill. – Strategies and tactics for helping individuals and organizations develop the technology skills and competencies needed to succeed in a fast-changing world will be shared when CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the global technology industry, hosts its annual Partner Summit next week.
The free online conference will span three days – July 28 through July 30 – and deliver more than 10 hours of original content from industry experts. Nearly 1,200 individuals from 63 countries are currently registered for the CompTIA Partner Summit.
“Even before the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, the dizzying pace of innovation has challenged organizations and IT professionals alike,” said Joe Padin, CompTIA vice president, business development. “Now, we’re all learning how to work and train in a world unlike anything any of us have ever experienced. We need to embrace new training regimens that can quickly reskill and up-skill our technology talent as we work towards recovery and economic growth.”
The CompTIA Partner Summit, with the conference theme of “The Next Wave: Reskilling for the Future,” is intended for academic partners, training delivery partners, instructors, , government staff, corporate development and workforce leaders, or anyone interested in learning more about the future of the IT workforce.
