CompTIA and Learn on Demand Systems Expand and Extend eLearning Options for Aspiring Technology Professionals

Jun 23, 2020

Downers Grove, Ill. – CompTIA, a global leader in training and certifications for technology professionals, and its partner Learn on Demand Systems are making it easier for aspiring tech professionals to develop and demonstrate their job skills.

The two organizations said today that they are extending access to eLearning labs from six months to a full year for CompTIA educational partners and their students who are seeking to earn technical certifications from CompTIA and using Official CompTIA Content to prepare.

“The COVID-19 pandemic caused unprecedented disruption to the learning experience for students and instructors alike,” said Ryan Blankenship, CompTIA’s vice president of product “We want every student who is interested in becoming CompTIA certified to have the opportunity to do so, and to prepare for their exam without worry due to issues of access, disruption or equity.”

Learn on Demand Systems, a global leader in hands-on live learning, provides labs for Official CompTIA Content curriculum. These labs provide learners the ability to hone their skills in a virtual environment to gain skills and experience necessary for success on CompTIA’s performance-based certification exams and their future job roles.

“Preparing for exams with hands-on experience is crucial to developing the skills needed to pass a performance-based exam,” said Corey Hynes, CEO of Learn on Demand Systems. “We are proud to be collaborating with CompTIA to deliver high quality labs, combining their excellent content with our powerful platform. They are a great strategic partner and an industry leader, always seeking the best learner experience and skills development opportunities for tech professionals.”

“Performance-based questions, which test a candidate’s ability to solve real world problems in a simulated environment, are a big reason why employers look to CompTIA certifications as a validation of skills for current and prospective tech workers,” Blankenship said.

CompTIA is the global leader in vendor-neutral technical education and certifications in skills ranging from IT support and networking to cybersecurity and cloud computing. Nearly 2.7 million CompTIA certifications have been awarded to technology professionals in 232 countries around the world. Visit https://www.comptia.org/certifications to learn more.
