CompTIA Welcomes ConnectWise Executive Jason Magee to Board of Directors

Feb 26, 2018

Downers Grove, Ill. – CompTIA, the world’s leading technology association, announced today that Jason Magee, chief operating officer for ConnectWise, has joined its Board of Directors.

Magee has more than 19 years of technology sales, channel management and IT market experience. As chief operating officer at ConnectWise, he oversees day-to-day operational activities for the company, a leading provider of software solutions for the technology solution provider community.

“With the breadth of his experience in our industry, Jason is a strong addition to our Board of Directors,” said Todd Thibodeaux, president CEO of CompTIA. “He’s seen firsthand the evolution of how technology solutions make their way from manufacturer to customer. His insights into the business of technology – how it is marketed, purchased and deployed – will help guide the actions we take as an association and an industry.”

Prior to joining ConnectWise in 2011, Magee held director-level positions at CA Technologies, managing teams, channel partners, strategic alliances and marketing budgets. He built and launched industry-leading programs, partner incentives, and vendor initiatives.

Magee began his career at Rocketboard.com selling advertising space and interactive keyboard OEM deals. He also worked at Interactive Futures and Global Computers where he held sales, marketing, and product management positions.

A native of New York, Magee has an MBA from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.
