Washington D.C. –The Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the leading trade association for the global information technology industry, and the Public Technology Institute (PTI) announced today the winners of the 2020 PTI Solutions Awards.

The annual PTI Solutions Awards recognize PTI member cities and counties that have implemented or updated innovative technology solutions within the past 15 months that positively affected local government performance and service to the public.

Categories included: Telecommunications and IT; Cybersecurity; Web Services, E-Government, and Mobile Apps; Geospatial Information Systems (GIS); Public Safety and Emergency Management, Community Resiliency; Sustainability; Data and Performance Metrics; Customer Service; and Emerging Technologies Applications.

“These cities and counties were faced with a once-in-a-lifetime crisis this year when the COVID-19 pandemic forced changes in how we all work and how local governments deliver critical services to residents by leveraging innovative technology solutions,” said Dr. Alan Shark, Executive Director of the Public Technology Institute. “We congratulate the winners for going above and beyond and showing the entire public sector technology community the vital role innovation plays in improving how governments interact and serve their constituents.”
