CompTIA Opens Call for Speakers for ChannelCon 2019

Feb 27, 2019

IT industry’s premier education, networking and partnering conference returns to Las Vegas

Downers Grove, Ill. CompTIA, the world’s leading technology association, today opened its call for speakers for ChannelCon 2019, the information technology (IT) industry’s premier annual conference for education, networking and partnering.

ChannelCon 2019 is scheduled for August 5 through 7 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

“Today’s technology companies operate in an environment that’s both exciting and challenging,” said Kelly Ricker, executive vice president for events and education and CompTIA.

“Their customers are intrigued by the advancements and innovations made possible by cloud and edge computing, 5G wireless networks, artificial intelligence and other emerging tech,” Ricker explained. “At the same time, customers remain heavily reliant on core technologies and infrastructure. At ChannelCon, we’ll provide unique insights and actionable steps tech firms can take to stay ahead of the game on both fronts.”

CompTIA is seeking speaker proposals for the conference’s General Education Program, including the BizTech and Future Trends tracks; and the IT Pro Track powered by CompTIA Pro.  Topics for the IT Pro Track must be technical topics eligible for CompTIA Continuing Education credits for at least one CompTIA certification.
