CompTIA and its partners are addressing the persistent shortage of technology workers by presenting employment seekers with a range of options to join the tech workforce. Industry-recognized certifications that validate digital skills are one example. A 2024 CompTIA report found that 82% of companies say industry-recognized technical certifications factor heavily into their hiring of tech talent.1

Training and certification also address the confidence gap that impacts some people who are considering careers in technology. Six in 10 job candidates saying they struggle with a lack of confidence. 2

“The comprehensive tech training delivered by CompTIA and our partners offers a powerful solution by giving professionals the innovative knowledge and skills they need to feel more confident and re-energized in their job roles,” added Koppensteiner.

The need for broader and deeper digital skills continues to grow across industries around the globe. Job seekers across the demographic spectrum say digital skills are critical to career readiness in today’s labor market. 3
