Join this session to hear from Ruth Wachelder about her career journey unfolding after making the exciting decision a long time ago to say yes to opportunities instead of no. She will be sharing her failures as well as her successes and Ruth believes that her greatest growth has come from the failures.
Ruth is a general management professional, currently halfway through her sabbatical. For the last 16 years, she was a Managing Director at Bechtle, responsible for Belgium.
She will be talking about her career and how she got to the point where she is today. What did she do, or not do? Which hurdles did she meet, and what challenges did she overcome? How did she navigate the IT sector which is mainly dominated by men, especially in the boardrooms. Ruth will also elaborate how she handled the situation in between jobs.
