Qualifying Audiences: National Out of School Non-Profits
Allocated Amount: $40 Million
The Workforce Pathways for Youth (WPY) grant program, administered by the US Department of Labor, aims to expand workforce development activities for youth, particularly those from underserved communities. Round 4 focuses on career exploration, work-based learning, skills training, and support services to enhance the employability of young individuals aged 14-24. Round 5 builds on these efforts by incorporating industry partnerships, technology integration, and entrepreneurship training, with an emphasis on addressing emerging workforce needs and reaching youth who face significant barriers to employment.
