CompTIA is looking for data professionals who have current experience working in the data systems field to be involved in an Item Writing workshop for a Data Systems certification exam.
The purpose of this Item Writing workshop is to create and review item content (questions) for the Data Systems certification.
Assistance from SMEs is crucial in providing industry relevant certifications. Potential SMEs must have at least 5 years of experience working as a database administrator, data administrator, or data engineer. Potential SMEs must have hands-on experience working with on-premises databases, cloud-based relational databases, and/or NoSQL databases. Solution architecture experience is a plus.
SMEs who attend the workshop will receive:
In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire Job Task Analysis workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.
*International SMEs will instead receive $540/day stipend ($2,700 total) to help defer additional travel costs.
Based on changing state and government guidelines/requirements, vaccination is currently not required for workshop participants.
