Vendor Cloud Solutions Available at Breakaway

Box announced programs for certified reseller and solution providers, designed to accelerate and optimize the adoption of Box's cloud content management solution within businesses of all sizes. These new programs will define the changing role of service providers and resellers as their customers transition to cloud services.

When working with on-premise solutions, resellers and solution providers focus on complex implementations that continuously change due to software updates, hardware configuration changes and integration challenges. Through Box, partners can concentrate on their customers' critical business needs by providing a simple, open content management solution that reduces complexity.

Microsoft and Rise are inviting solution providers for lunch on Thursday, August 4^th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Cabinet Room at Breakaway, to learn more about an innovation cloud solution available only to and through the reseller channel.  Rise's award-winning DataCenter on Demand (DCoD) enables partners to offer customers white label cloud services thereby increasing their revenue streams without increasing capital expenditure. Canonical is launching its new Ubuntu Advantage (UA) partner program to help resellers bring a new set of support services for Ubuntu server, desktop and cloud installations direct to businesses. Ubuntu Advantage helps to minimize any impact on mission-critical services and reduce the cost of system downtime. The Ubuntu Advantage partner program extends the availability of these services beyond Canonical and, for customers, adds local resources and responsiveness to the expertise that Canonical continues to provide.

6fusion, a provider of utility-metered public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure management software and services, is exhibiting at Breakaway. 6fusion is 100-percent channel focused and its metering algorithm, the Workload Allocation Cube, creates a commercial standard to quantify supply and demand for computer resources.  6fusion’s UC6 Cloud Management Platform provides a single console that allows IT organizations of all types to meter, manage and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructures.

Bolstering its support for cloud solution providers, 2X Software announced a partnership with Artisan Infrastructure, a wholesale infrastructure-as-a-service provider, to provide 2X Application Server functionality for joint customers faster and more affordably.

Managed service providers, IT solution providers, independent software vendors  and systems integrators can now trial and deploy preconfigured 2X Software-based application delivery solutions quickly and efficiently from Artisan Infrastructure’s ecosystem, including a catalog of cloud solution templates.
